Meet Joanne & Her Family

At The Little People Preschool, our journey is a story of passion, dedication, and the joy of shaping young lives. Joanne, our founder, has been married to her husband, Jose, since 2000, and together they share three wonderful sons—Cristian, Jacob, and Matthew. A proud alumna of California State University of San Marcos, Joanne holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Early Childhood Education.

From Humble Beginnings To A Thriving Preschool Vision

Joanne's childcare career began over 20 years ago when her husband’s military orders took them to Hawaii. It was there she discovered her love for early childhood education while working at a private Christian preschool. Upon returning to California, she continued her work in the field, eventually taking a leap of faith in 2009 to open her own home-based childcare. Her passion grew, and with it, so did her vision, leading to what is now The Little People Preschool.
