Get To Know Us

Our team is the heart of everything we do. Each member of our staff is passionate about early childhood education, bringing expertise, compassion, and enthusiasm to the classroom every day. Our team participates in ongoing in-service training to enhance their skills. All lead teachers are CPR and First Aid certified, have at least 12 units in Child Development, and bring extensive experience working with children. Additionally, every staff member undergoes thorough background checks to ensure a safe and professional environment.

Meet Our Director

Ms. Kimberly

Ms. Kim has been at The Little People Preschool since 2015, when it was a home daycare. She was still in high school when she joined our LPP family! After high school, she pursued her degree in Early childhood Education, then became the Pre-K teacher for two years (when our new facility opened), and became the Director in May of 2024. We are so blessed to have her on our staff!

Meet Our Assistant Director

Ms. Lynnette

Ms. Lynnette is originally from Washington. At the age of 22, she graduated with a double major in Accounting and Early Childhood Education. She worked at a preschool in Washington for 20 years before moving to San Marcos, where she began working as Ms. Joanne's assistant at her home daycare. In 2017, she opened her own home daycare and recently returned to our preschool as Ms. Kim's assistant. We are so lucky to have her on staff!
